Well you've come here because you have fell into one of the basic traps with the YouTube code, well. Good I can say, because your going to fix it.
Firstly, meet YouTube, a video network where you can upload any random videos for the sake of it, you obviously have to have the YouTube video uploaded first and it's link.
Now comes the clever part. (oooh!)
You click the button 'New Post' or 'Post Reply'. New Post makes a new thread when you are looking at the whole subforum.
Usually, the users using a 'Computer' will see something like this. (Duh!)
Then, in the editing screen, you click this button.
Then, the following comes up.
So, you have a box. Well done. You made it this far.
Yes, it does change to that. It's supposed to. It corrects the code as the [youtube][/youtube] Is actually not a valid BBCode function, just a shortcut to the flash BBCode with the height and width variables set as 425,335. And Note the
Code:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0T1sid9Wqo
Has changed to:
Code:
http://www.youtube.com/v/x0T1sid9Wqo
. That also is ment to happen, as I say, when you have entered the code once, you don't need to fiddle with it again, don't try and change the link to change the video, just delete the code and open the YouTube thing again.
The same works with Dailymotion.
Hope this has cleared everything up.
Waddle On!
